Job Description /ObjectiveDouble Play Marketing & Sales is a provider of outstanding partner support. We apply our Fortune 500 experiences to small or medium-sized businesses providing our clients the tools they need to never stop growing.
The role of the Sales Associate is essential to internal and external, client-facing functions. All team members are expected to represent Double Play Marketing and Sales as professional brand Ambassadors.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Supports team, meet deadlines, and assists the sales team with day-to-day sales functions for the company
- Responsible for managing direct outreach including cold calling, Linked In to prospects using the company systems, tools, platforms, and software
- Responsible for researching and attending networking events and opportunities, including evening networking events.
- Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
- Prospect for new clients
- Make sales presentations, develop proposals and quotes, and close sales.
- Establish strong client relationships and follow up with clients, as needed.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly client support
- Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success every day
- Conduct research, as needed
- Embraces personal and professional development that promotes industry best practices
- Owns sales processes end-to-end as assigned and overseen by managers
- Keeps all client information organized and up to date using company CRM
- Trusted team member
- Passion for marketing industry and excitement to collaborate in a fast-paced environment
- Preferred experience in Hub Spot, Pipe Drive or Salesforce, but not required
- Willingness to increase knowledge of Digital Marketing Industry
- Exhibit a strong team mindset with an ability work on cross functional teams
- Works proactively and volunteers assistance without being asked under tight schedules
- Strong organizational, prioritization, project management skills with meticulous attention to detail and excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.

- Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Knowledge of the social media universe including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, You Tube, wikis, blogs and all emerging platforms.
- Working knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Programs and Outlook (electronic scheduling)
- Commits to 5 days/40 hours work week sufficient to cover responsibilities to clients and teams.
