Technical Inside Sales Project Manager
We have an immediate opening for a Technical Inside Sales Project Manager to join and strengthen our North American Engineering and Sales organization, located in Northern New Jersey.
Our company is a world leader in manufacturing fuses for the global market, from Electronic Range fuses to High Voltage AC and DC fuses. Experience in the Electrical Power industry, with an understanding of circuit protection requirements, is a plus.
Responsibilities- Offer proposals, commercial and technical assistance to Engineers and Representatives.
- Simplify complex issues and relate technical explanations back to the commercial value of the product.
- Manage assigned sales personnel to achieve sales goals and volume.
- Contribute to the development of annual sales strategy and action plans.
- Conduct product, customer and market research.
- Prepare and give technical presentations.
- Analyze customers’ needs and propose technical solutions.
- Support our Field Sales force.
- Assist with project tracking using Microsoft Office, project tracking software and management tools.
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks with changing deadlines, meeting tight deadlines and following projects through to completion.
- Travel light within North America.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management.
- Experience in power electronics and power systems.
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with project management software.
- Hands‑on, capable of offering proposals, commercial and technical assistance.
- Dynamic personality with excellent interpersonal, supervisory and presentation skills.
- Strong communication skills across verbal, written, face‑to‑face and telephone platforms.
- Experience managing direct sales and manufacturer’s reps.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus but not required.
