Merchandise and Stocking Associate

Position overview

Base pay range: $17.00/hr - $24.00/hr

The merchandising & stocking associate supports store operations by ensuring members can find products and by keeping the store tidy and organized. Responsibilities may include moving inventory in the backroom, unloading trucks, fulfilling club pick-up orders, and assisting members while stocking shelves. The role can be physically demanding and fast-paced, and may involve summer unloading and freezer work. This is a team-focused position with a goal of helping members find what they love, for less.

• Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, guiding self-service technology, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting products and services.
• Maintain facility safety per company policies, including safety sweeps, forklift procedures, hazardous materials handling, and reporting unsafe situations.
• Maintain sales floor and merchandise presentation by zoning areas, stocking and organizing merchandise, setting up displays, removing damaged goods, pricing merchandise, and identifying shrink.
• Monitor product quality through rotation, dating, recalls, and sanitation standards; ensure prominent display of promotional and seasonal merchandise.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity standards; apply Open Door Policy in business processes.
• Complete work assignments by prioritizing tasks, collaborating with managers and coworkers, communicating progress, and adapting to feedback and change.
• Assist with club pick-up orders and staging to ensure correct selection and readiness per policy.
• Support a positive, member-focused store environment and engage with vendors and drivers as needed.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $24.00. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in certain circumstances (ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour) based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Premiums may apply if criteria are met.
