Location: Short Hills
Job Description
As an Ambassador of the Maison, you will achieve and exceed sales targets, proactively develop your client portfolio, ensure a unique client experience throughout all touchpoints, and actively participate in the boutique’s daily operations.
Key Responsibilities- Sales Achievement
- Consistently achieve and/or exceed the monthly sales target, as directed by management.
- Provide outstanding customer service, including greeting every customer and maintaining exceptional standards and solid product knowledge.
- Adapt approach according to client needs and motivations.
- Negotiate and handle objections with ease.
- Client Relationship Management
- Cultivate new and existing client relationships through exceptional service and Maison‑specific CRM initiatives.
- Accurately capture client data for follow‑up using available tools.
- Resolve client issues or concerns and elevate as needed.
- Support in‑store and off‑site events and networking.
- Daily Boutique Operations
- Understand and comply with all security and operational policies and procedures.
- Assist with daily set‑up, break‑down, and maintenance matters.
- Help with merchandising and upkeep of displays and back‑stock.
- Participate in inventories and cycle counts.
- Assist with special projects such as price changes and back‑office responsibilities.
- Education:
College degree preferred. - Required Experience:
2 to 5 years in luxury retail; consistent availability for Saturday, Sunday, and at least one weekday. - Technical
Skills:
Fast‑paced retail environment, computer and internet savvy, MS Office proficiency (SAP knowledge preferred). - Personal Skills & Abilities:
Additional language skills are a plus; general knowledge of timepiece movements preferred; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong customer‑service focus; high attention to detail; ambassador for Cartier image; self‑starter, team player; availability for retail hours, weekends, travel for training, events, conferences.
