Overview
Retail Receiving Clerk at Albertsons Companies. This role involves receiving all Direct Store Delivery (DSD) and vendor deliveries; verifying the accuracy of invoices and ensuring proper documentation; maintaining cost, quality, and inventory control through auditing and electronic systems; organizing and maintaining the receiving, storage, and loading dock areas; handling damaged or spoiled products (including repair, pricing, or return); operating equipment such as pallet jacks, balers, compactors, and handheld devices;
training employees on store policies and record-keeping procedures; maintaining accurate department records and complying with company policies; ensuring safety, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas and equipment; and implementing emergency procedures for equipment or software malfunctions.

- Verify accuracy of invoices and ensure proper documentation.
- Maintain cost, quality, and inventory control through auditing and electronic systems.
- Organize and maintain the receiving, storage, and loading dock areas.
- Handle damaged or spoiled products, including repair, pricing, or return.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, balers, compactors, and handheld devices.
- Train employees on store policies and record-keeping procedures.
- Maintain accurate department records and comply with company policies.
- Ensure safety, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
- Implement emergency procedures for equipment or software malfunctions.

- Stand for long periods and perform repetitive movements.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Occasional travel, including overnight travel, may be required.
- Must comply with grooming and dress code standards.
- Good attendance and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

The pay is $21.75 per hour, but no less than the local minimum wage. Starting rates will vary based on location, experience, qualifications, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
