Overview

We are hiring immediately for full and part time COOK positions.

Location:

Monmouth Board Plan, 400 Cedar Avenue, West Long Branch, NJ 07764. Online applications accepted only.

Schedule:

Full-time and Part-time, Monday through Friday; more details upon interview.

• Prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serve meals or prepare for delivery by using correct portioning, ensuring food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty; taste all prepared items.
• Follow established ticket procedures during service and maintain accurate records from the area worked during service.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness; store or discard excess food per safe food-handling procedures.
• Keep refrigerators and storerooms clean and neatly organized; store food and supplies per standards.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assist in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required.
• Assist in ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required.
• Report needed maintenance, faulty equipment or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
• Attend in-service and safety meetings; maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers.
• Perform duties safely and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Adhere to HACCP standards and ensure proper presentation, portion control and serving temperatures.
• Follow company policies and procedures, including safety and protective equipment guidelines where applicable.

• Cooking and kitchen experience is a plus; training will be provided.
• Ability to perform essential duties of the role satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Competitive pay: $18.00 per hour.
