• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order, following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels, and resolve food quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back‑of‑house crew and front‑of‑house crew.
• Develop crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with crew and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure the kitchen is properly cleaned and sanitized.
• Monitor kitchen equipment and ensure it is kept in good repair; repair malfunctioning equipment promptly.
• Ensure kitchen and crew meet safety guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Fill out Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and manage inventory rotation (FIFO).

• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Knowledge of, and ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• High school diploma.
• Restaurant experience.

Base pay $17.40–$19.35 per hour, eligible for digital tips. Actual base pay may vary based on skill level, experience, and/or education. Chipotle also offers a competitive benefits package.
