Restaurant Shift Leader role at Rackson Restaurants
. The Shift Leader oversees all restaurant activities during their shift, ensuring smooth store operations, exceptional guest service, and adherence to company standards. They interact with guests, supervise staff, handle cash management, and maintain cleanliness and safety. The Shift Leader works hands-on as needed, partners with the Management Team to execute the business plan, provides training to others, and resolves issues promptly while enforcing policies and procedures.

- Manages shift activities for operational excellence
- Ensures compliance with labor laws and regulations
- Supports the success of the business hands-on as needed (preparing food, serving guests, cleaning, or other duties)
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent restaurant management experience
- Previous fast food restaurant experience required
- English communication required;
Spanish comprehension helpful. Basic reading, writing, math, and computer/POS skills - Strong leadership skills; ability to stay calm and professional in challenging situations
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion, and loop in the right stakeholders for support when needed
- Willingness to learn all areas of restaurant operations and work multiple stations
- Positive attitude and genuine desire to help others
- Respectful and caring treatment of others
- Strong communication skills, including verbal communication in Spanish and/or English
- Self-motivated and action-oriented; quick to learn
- Attitude that embraces learning; willingness to admit mistakes, take accountability, and fix issues
- Prompt and regular attendance; dependable and reliable
- Reliable transportation to work and company events/meetings
- Availability to work a variety of days/times including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Physical requirements:
ability to lift/move/carry up to 50 pounds; stand for long periods; frequent bending, reaching, and other movements; exposure to fluctuating temperatures - Reasonable accommodations available to enable performance of essential functions
