R&D Assistant (Science)

Montvale NJ (fully onsite)

6 Months (extension possible)

$25 - $29 hourly

• Provide lab support for Regional Operations, including evaluation of commercial products, new launches, cost improvement projects, and supplier approvals through performance and stability testing.
• Interpret lab test results and document findings, ensuring compliance with SOP/GLP protocols for product registration and regulatory submissions.
• Support production startups and quality improvements, respond to consumer complaints, competitor challenges, and legal inquiries related to product technical matters.
• Manage laboratory operations, including inventory, equipment maintenance, and execution of work according to safety and quality standards.
• Prepare technical reports and maintain clear communication with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives within established timelines.

• BS degree in a related science
• Entry Level: 0-2 years lab experience; some lab experience helpful, stability and batching skills desirable
• Interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment, including cross-functional Project Teams involving members from Marketing, Supply, Manufacturing as well as R&D.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills (oral and written) for effective collaboration and accurate reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple projects within timelines, adapt to changing priorities, and work independently with self-motivation.
