Veterinary Assistant; Oradell

Veterinary Assistant Full-Time (No Weekends)
Location: Oradell, New Jersey
Pay: Starting at $16.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Animal Care of Oradell, a privately owned small animal veterinary clinic, is seeking a compassionate and motivated Veterinary Assistant to join our growing team. If you love working with animals and want to make a difference in a supportive, positive environment, we'd love to hear from you.

After training, your key duties will include:

• Safely restraining pets during exams and treatments

• Keeping kennel areas clean, organized, and comfortable

• Preparing and labeling medications accurately

• Updating patient records in our electronic medical system

• Assisting with curbside service and pet transport

• Communicating clearly and compassionately with clients about their pets visit and follow-up care

Training will be provided for candidates who bring strong communication skills, reliability, and a passion for animal care.

• Minimum of two years of customer service experience preferred

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Comfortable using technology and learning new software

• Positive attitude and genuine interest in veterinary medicine

• A team player who takes initiative and supports others

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM

• No weekends

• Starting at $16.00 per hour (negotiable based on skills and experience)
