Hamburg Veterinary Clinic, located in northern New Jersey, is looking for a part time Client Service Representative to join our team. This position is responsible for managing multiple phone lines simultaneously, booking appointments, checking in/out clients, and processing payments.

Hamburg Veterinary Clinic, located in northern New Jersey, is looking for a part time Client Service Representative to join our team. This position is responsible for managing multiple phone lines simultaneously, booking appointments, checking in/out clients, and processing payments.

Must have excellent skills in multi-tasking, client service, and communication. We are looking for someone with a great attitude, outgoing personality, a high level of computer proficiency and exceptional telephone skills. Applicants must be team players who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position, approx. 32 hours, with flexibility to work additional hours.

CSR

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Greet patients, their pets, vendors, and other visitors to our medical office
• Educate clients on the importance of preventative care
• Answer patient questions, provide assistance and directions when necessary
• Field all phone calls and send emails
• Utilize our medical office software to schedule new and follow-up appointments for our patients
• Register new patients and update necessary records
• Process bills, invoices, and patient payments in office

Vet Assistant

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Animal handling and restraint
• Assist doctors and technicians with medical treatments, diagnostic tests, and procedures
• Obtain health history from clients and ensure documentation is accurate and complete within the electronic medical record
• Maintain cleanliness of treatment and patient areas
• Restock and organize medical supplies
• Constantly advance your knowledgebase and skill set

Skills and

Qualifications:

• 2 years of professional experience in a veterinary clinical setting (CSR, kennel attendant, vet assistant, other), preferred
• Candidates must be willing to be cross-trained as a Veterinary Assistant.
• Excellent phone and computer skills
• Must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to problem solve and handle multiple tasks
• Must have the ability to adjust to changes in the environment and able to handle stress in a calm manner
• Must be a team player, have patience and maintain a positive attitude.
• Must be able to anticipate and be detail oriented due to the high level of quality medicine.
  
  Must be able to lift and restrain pets of at least 40 pounds.
