• Function as an expert clinical nurse resource assisting team members, physicians, patients, and the community in new or complex interventions.
• Act as a role model by demonstrating current trends and providing professional development opportunities for team members.
• Independently develop, implement, and evaluate an educational plan to meet the needs of team members.
• Actively participate in the research process and utilize the information to further enhance patient care.
• Function in the role of the clinical nurse specialist to nursing staff, administrators, physicians, and the community.
• Facilitate patient teaching and support programs utilizing the nursing process.

• Current and valid RN License in the State of New Jersey.
• MSN or Master's Degree in a health‑related field.
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification.
• 3‑5 years of current oncology nursing experience.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) certification preferred.
• Nurse educator experience strongly preferred.
• National certification strongly preferred.

Minimum rate of $51.49 hourly.
