The Infusion Guide will contribute to the company’s growth through detailed referral and intake coordination along with excellent customer and physician service. The role ensures patients receive the highest level of care possible in infusion therapy. This is a full‑time position located onsite in Emerson, NJ. Candidates should have prior experience reading medical charts and working on insurance pre‑authorizations, and should be comfortable navigating electronic health records.
InThis Role, You Will
- Handle all aspects of the infusion referral process; obtaining authorizations, financial counseling, and benefit investigation
- Serve as liaison with referring providers to obtain required documentation and communicate treatment status
- Communicate referral process and status to patients in a customer‑centric way
- Maintain open communication with referring/prescribing providers
- Assist with maintaining medical inventory and office supplies
- Complete a dedicated six‑week training plan to help you succeed
- Passion for patient care and delivering exceptional experiences
- Health care experience required; prior infusion experience preferred
- Insurance prior authorization experience
- Medical terminology knowledge
- Overall medical‑insurance experience
- Ability to quickly grasp new applications and tools
- Strong familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
