Overview
Nurse Manager Full Time Days 8-4 ICU Chilton Medical Center
Base pay range: $58.56/hr - $103.06/hr

Responsibilities- Responsible for leading and implementing programs that support non-physician clinical staff with orientation and competency assessment to promote standardized clinical workflow and optimal patient care.
- Evaluate performance, provide feedback and mentoring, develop education programs, contribute to staff professional development, and oversee Environment of Care (EOC) and Infection Prevention (IP) in collaboration with IP departments.
- Identify nursing staff development needs, plan and provide education in area of expertise; develop educational programs and conferences for staff, other departments, and the community.
- Plan and implement quality improvement programs for clinical education and environment of care; identify interventions to successfully implement workflow changes.
- Review patient and staff data to measure the effectiveness of patient care.
- Collaborate with senior leadership, interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders to develop, implement and evaluate programs and services in alignment with the system.
- Address issues to promote a productive and supportive work environment.
- Maintain clinical and non-clinical guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures.
- Promote and maintain a safe and clean working environment by designing and implementing procedures, rules, and regulations; provide assistance from other health care professionals within the system and from regulatory agencies.
- Develop and interpret infection-control policies and protocols; enforce medication administration, storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations.
- Maintain coordination among health care teams by communicating information, responding to requests, building rapport, and participating in team problem-solving.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor s degree in Nursing or related field.
- Master s degree in Nursing or related field.
- 5 years experience in clinical management in an ambulatory setting or relevant area.
- Certification in BLS and valid NJ nursing license.
