• Deliver nursing practices that follow the most up‑to‑date evidence‑based research, policies, and standards of care to provide safe, individualized patient care.
• Maintain ongoing communication with patients, nursing colleagues, and other health‑care team members about patient status, rendered care, and treatment plans.
• Administer medications using modern bar‑scanning and documentation technologies to ensure the safest delivery of medications.
• Document point‑of‑care electronic records of assessments, plans of care, interventions, and evaluations for each patient.
• Provide patient and family‑centered education aimed at optimizing health, wellness, and disease management.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary discharge plans to ensure safe transitions and continuity of care.

• Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license required.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire.
• Minimum of 6 months of nursing experience or active participation in the Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency program.
• Critical care nursing experience preferred.
• ACLS preferred.
• CCRN preferred.
• BSN in progress and/or willingness to acquire within three (3) years of hire.
• Strong learner, adaptable, accountable, teamwork oriented, and dedicated to continuous education and high‑quality patient care.

Minimum rate of $42.19 per hour.

Posted rates represent a reasonable good‑faith estimate of the minimum base pay at the time of posting in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Act.
