Pay Range: $46.90 – $63.09 per hour

The 5-Diamond Patient Safety Program was developed as an innovative training and recognition program to assist dialysis providers in increasing awareness and building a culture of safety among patients.

• Day Shift
• Full Time
• Every other weekend required. Schedule during the week will vary depending on department needs
• Mandatory Orientation

• Active New Jersey RN License or approved RN license required.
• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS prior to the start date is required.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience in dialysis preferred.

The Registered Nurse (RN) organizes and administers individualized age-specific professional care to patients within an assigned unit of the hospital in support of medical care. Supports the philosophy, objectives, and the mission and vision of Saint Barnabas Medical Center and the Department of Nursing. Practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, Department of Health Regulations, TJC requirements and other regulatory agencies.

Participates in patient teaching and discharge planning. Participates in unit Performance Improvement evaluation activities.
