Join Wellpath as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cape May County Correctional Facility. You will provide patient care under Charge Nurse supervision, using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Full‑time, 37.5 hours per week with variable weekend shift.

Hours:

Saturday 0700–1930, Sunday 0700–1930, Monday 1900–0730. Pay range $42.41–$47.12 per hour (experience based). Shift differentials discussable during screening.

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum 1 year of clinic experience preferred.
• Registered Nurse license in New Jersey (or compact license).
• Current AHA BLS and CPR certification.
• Preferred previous corrections or emergency department experience.

• Assist in assessment and planning of individual treatment programs.
• Implement medical plans: administer medications, obtain diagnostic tests, assist with minor surgical procedures.
• Count controlled substances and adhere to protocols.
• Document nursing encounters using SOAP charting.
• Attend mandatory staff meetings and training sessions.
• Communicate clinical information to nursing staff, physicians, and supervisory personnel.
