The Manager of Med/Surg – Telemetry is a Registered Nurse who assumes 24‑hour administrative responsibility for the management of all nursing service functions within the Med/Surg – Telemetry departments. The role involves supervising, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the delivery of patient care. It includes developing and implementing departmental plans, including performance improvement activities and compliance with current regulations. The manager supervises and evaluates all personnel assigned to the unit, effectively utilizes nursing personnel, and is directly accountable to the CNO/DON.
Communication skills with staff, physicians, and administration, both written and verbal, are essential.
- Must have a current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse.
- BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
- A minimum of two years supervisory/management experience necessary.
- Minimum of three years of continuous clinical experience in a clinical/acute care setting.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), required for all hires after 1/11/2021.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $93,600.00 to $ on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
