• This position is an ON-SITE, FULL TIME position based in Colts Neck, NJ.

• Only considering candidates who are willing/able to work on site in Colts Neck Monday – Thursday from 8-6. (off every Friday)

CMDS, the area’s leading internet marketing services agency, is hiring a rockstar Senior Social Media Specialist in NJ to manage social media channels for our valued clients, our marketing agency, and our CEO’s personal brand.

Here’s the deal – this isn’t your average social media position. We want the best of the best. We want someone who can look at what we’ve done, and then take it to the next level. Obviously, we’re talking about Instagram, Linked In, Facebook and Tik Tok.

The CMDS Senior Social Media Specialist will approach each day differently based on client/agency/CEO/project needs.

The Senior Social Media Specialist must be experienced in the following:

Skills and Qualifications Required:

• 5+ years of experience of professional content curation and social media marketing experience
• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s (Required)
• Experience in creating social media strategies
• Knowledge of best practices to create content for social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Linked In, You Tube etc.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Organized and able to multitask
• Strong writing, organizational, project management, and time management skills
• Organic and paid social media strategy and execution
• Prior experience as a content manager/copywriter
• A passion for creating ENGAGING social media and video content
• Demonstrated success in growing social media presence on multiple platforms resulting in greater followers and audience engagement
• Experience using social media marketing tools such as Buffer
• Proficient with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Analytics, etc.)

Responsibilities include:

• Strategize, create and deliver creative and engaging social media strategies
• Manage and track budgets for social media activities
• Regularly liaise with clients via telephone, email, conference calls or face-to-face (agency roles).
• Strong communication and people skills for articulating ideas to colleagues and clients
• Analyze customer expectations according to past social media activity
• Update social media content across all channels
• Be on top of the latest social media trends and best practices
• Proactively identify and make recommendations on poor performing social content and social channel engagement
• Working with clients to develop social media marketing campaigns
• Assess key social media metrics to strategize for future campaigns
• Recommend improvements to increase performance
• Maximizing the features of social media channels (IGTV/Reels/Posts/Stories, etc)
