Quality Control Supervisor

Quality Control Supervisor – $75,000 - $85,000

Our client in the Precision Industrial industry is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to join their team. The ideal candidate must have the demonstrated experience with ISO 9001 and strong technical skills. The QC Supervisor provides hands-on leadership on the shop floor, supervises inspection personnel, manages nonconforming material and corrective actions, and serves as the primary quality interface between production, engineering, suppliers, and customers.

What will you be doing?

• Supervise and mentor QC Inspectors and quality technicians.
• Implement, maintain, and enforce the ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System.
• Oversee quality control of powder coating operations.
• Ensure all quality procedures, work instructions, and records are current, controlled, and properly followed.
• Support internal audits, external ISO audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections.
• Track and close audit findings, corrective actions, and preventive actions
• Supervise incoming, in-process, and final inspections for: laser cutting, turret punching, shearing, brake forming, fabrication, welding, assembly, powder coating, and finishing

What do you bring?

• Positive, can-do attitude
• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• 3-6 years of quality control experience in precision sheet metal manufacturing
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or lead quality role preferred
• Demonstrate experience with ISO 9001:2015
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T
• Skilled with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, pin gauges, coating thickness gauges, and related tools
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and electronic quality records
• Ability to work on the manufacturing floor for extended periods
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
