Digital Print Production and Bindery Operator

Seeking an individual with digital print/commercial print production experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Completing jobs through digital print production and bindery.
• Understanding printing processes, system options and equipment;
  Ricoh, Xerox, and other similar commercial digital printers/copiers.
• Having a clear understanding of print industry terms and familiar with job jackets to minimize reprints or errors.
• Ensuring print files are sent to correct digital devices, including digital copiers, color laser printers, envelope ink jet printers and wide format inkjet printers.
• File preparation for bulk mail production, including cleaning and processing mailing lists for variable data mailing job
• Being responsible for quality output of digital and bindery tasks to ensure results meet client and company expectations.
• Ability and patience to train team on digital production procedures, operations and mailing processes to ensure consistency and proficiency standards are met.
• Hunger for self-learning, training and having mechanical and technical aptitude to handle setup and implementation of automation using a variety of software and business processes that work with digital machines
• Having good habits of maintaining a clean and well-organized department.
• Ensuring compliance with company safety rules and policies ae met.
