Job description

Join the World of Coffee roasting team and help us bring world-class coffee to life. We’re looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented Coffee Roaster with a passion for specialty coffee and a commitment to consistency, quality, and teamwork. This is a hands-on role at the heart of our production operation.

What You’ll Do
  • Roast high-quality specialty coffee using commercial roasters according to established roast profiles and flavor standards.
  • Prepare and weigh green coffee for roasting; stage and organize production batches.
  • Perform daily order fulfillment tasks including batching, blending, and packaging roasted coffee.
  • Keep accurate roast logs.
  • Assist with green coffee receiving, organizing inventory, and tracking stock.
  • Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of roasting equipment, and roasting and production spaces.
  • Follow all food safety and workplace safety protocols.
Who You Are
  • Experienced – At least 2 years of commercial roasting experience preferred, but passionate learners welcome.
  • Detail-Oriented – Strong attention to data accuracy and roast consistency.
  • Team Player – Positive attitude with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Self-Motivated – You take initiative, solve problems, and adapt to a changing production schedule.
  • Technically Proficient – Comfortable with roasting software and basic equipment maintenance.
Physical Requirements
  • Able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Able to lift and move up to 75 lbs. (with help as needed).
  • Able to visually inspect, taste, and smell coffee as part of quality assessments.
