We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Planner to join our dynamic team in Rockaway, NJ. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating production schedules, ensuring efficient operations, and maintaining quality standards.

• Material planning, reservation of stock and incoming material to customer orders for processing thru our ERP system.
• Optimization of on hand inventory as outlined in our process and procedures.
• Communicate issues with material availability to the sales team along with issues in meeting requested ship dates.
• Work with other warehouse locations on opportunities for better inventory utilization and use of capacities.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• High school diploma/GED required
• 2+ years’ experience in shipping and receiving
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Able to read a tape measure
• Good math skills including conversion of fractions to decimals
• Strong computer skills including Excel, Word Power Point and Microsoft office
• Strong time management, organizational, problem solving and communication skills
• Flexible to changes in work schedule start and stop time to support business conditions
• Open to cross training outside of core responsibilities to support the overall operation
• Experience in with Mechanical Drawing, CAD or Drafting & Layout is a plus

• Pay: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour
