Now onto the formal stuff.
- Together with site manager and global organization, build up, maintain and further develop the quality system and HACCP work at site.
- Participate in LEAN/Improvement work.
- Responsible for reduce the waste during the oatbase process
- Exterior cleaning of the equipment and verification of the CIP
- Follow the Food Safety rules and Good Manufacture Practice
- This position has direct responsibilities on Food Safety
- Utilize process data, trend analysis and training to monitor, troubleshoot and respond to process conditions to optimize the plant operations
- Collect and test samples on different stage of the process and take action based on the results when required.
- Perform basic laboratory testing pH, viscosity, total solids and titration
- Maintain a clean facility and follow the sanitation schedule.
- Perform ATP swabbing
- Adhere to all safety standards and wear all necessary personal protective equipment
- Must be 18 years or older with the ability to read, write and speak English specific to work instructions including but not limited to safety purposes
- High school, GED, or equivalent diploma required
- +2 years previous food manufacturing experience
- Excellent attendance & punctuality
- Intermediate HACCP Knowledge
- General knowledge of Dynamics 365
- Skilled use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), SharePoint, ERP
- Excellent organization skills and abilities to make decisions on quality issues
- Excellent communications skills and ability to establish strong working relationships at various levels of the organization
- Ability to climb several flights of stairs and ladders
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force at times and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body
- Ability to work in cold and hot environments (approximately 38F-80F degrees)
- Ability to be mobile in accomplishing tasks and or moving from one worksite (up to 1-mile range) to another this could include but not be limited to in-plant departments, (Shipping
- Receiving, Production, etc.) and - Ability to repeat motions that may include use of the wrists, hands and/or fingers, and standing or sitting for prolonged periods (average 8-12 hours)
