US Trades & Talent is currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Sheet Metal Mechanic Helper to join our team in New Jersey. The Sheet Metal Mechanic Helper will work alongside experienced sheet metal mechanics to assist in the fabrication, installation, and maintenance of sheet metal products and systems.

Sheet Metal Mechanic Helper

Moorestown, NJ
Pay: $16-$24 per hour
Responsibilities- Assist sheet metal mechanics in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the requirements of each project.
- Assist with the layout, measuring, and marking of sheet metal materials using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Support the fabrication and assembly of sheet metal products, including ductwork, fittings, and architectural elements.
- Assist in the installation of sheet metal systems, such as HVAC ductwork and ventilation systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Assist with the maintenance and repair of existing sheet metal systems as needed.
- Handle and transport sheet metal materials, equipment, and tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to minimize workplace accidents and hazards.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate any challenges or issues to the supervisor.
