Our focus is pump, electric motor and machinery services to a diverse base of customers that have mechanical and electrical requirements, from our facilities in Paterson, NJ, Wall Township, NJ, White Plains, NY, Hauppauge, NY, and Cranston, RI.

• Manual machinist for pump repair shop.
• DRO (digital readouts) on lathes & milling machines.
• No CNC machines or programming.

• Lathe experience: turning, facing, drilling, boring, threading (both external and internal).
• Bridgeport milling experience: drilling, tapping, fly cutting, edge squaring, keyway cutting, rotary table indexing.
• Use of standard drill presses, cutoff saws, band saws.
• Material handling from raw stock to finished product.
• Large radial drill & horizontal bore mill experience a plus.

• Reading standard blueprints. Do your own setup & indicating.
• Able to read standard shop tools (vernier & digital calipers, standard & metric micrometers).
• Familiar with depth gauges, bore gauges, dial indicators, squares, dividers.
• Able to diamond wheel dress carbide inserts and cutting tools.
• 4jaw chuck setup a plus.

• Must be able to work with minimum supervision from blueprints and sketches.
• Must be able to work through verbal instructions.
• A position with room to expand into the pump service side to take on multiple roles as machinist/mechanic (or road tech).
• Skill testing part of interview process.

Full time / In-Person 5 days a week

$30 - $40 depending on experience
