Inventory Clerk, Bakery - Maintenance - 2nd Shift

Base pay range: $27.00/hr - $28.00/hr shift differential pay may increase compensation.
Shift: 2nd Shift, 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm.
The Maintenance Clerk assists the Maintenance Planner/Scheduler in coordinating inventory efforts to maximize efficiency in the department. Responsibilities include physical material movement, tracking, documentation management, inventory accuracy, reporting, receiving, and customer service.
Responsibilities- Maintain spare parts service level, inventory turns, and inventory accuracy.
- Develop action plans with deadlines to achieve goals set by management and track progress regularly.
- Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to resolve inventory issues, reduce costs and increase machine uptime and reliability.
- Establish and maintain policies and procedures for the stockroom area in accordance with industrial manufacturing standards.
- Engage in all aspects of safety, including food safety, with employees, contractors and vendors.
- Monitor security of the stockroom and tool room.
- Perform cycle counts of stock items as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stockroom in line with industry standards.
- Manage outgoing shipments from the maintenance department, including bill of lading, scheduling pick‑ups, and proper packing.
- Ensure product quality, legality, and safety; report potential contamination or suspicious activity to a supervisor.
- Supervise dispensing of parts for job kitting.
- Quality‑inspect parts as received.
- Help manage spare parts for Capex inventory.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Direct knowledge of procurement to point of use in manufacturing.
- Observes safety and security procedures; reports unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly.
- Must possess (or be able to obtain) an industrial lift license.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, and CMMS.
- Hands‑on knowledge of maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) spare parts.
- Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) in food manufacturing and related maintenance operations.
- Fluent in reading and writing English.
- Knowledge of hazardous chemicals and materials and proper storage and disposal.
