Maintenance, Maintenance Technician ​/ Mechanic

Ability to read prints, drawings, and schematics for mechanical, fluid power, and electrical systems

Develop PM Program that will identify the necessary maintenance requirements to ensure machine longevity

Keep machinery and mechanical equipment operating and in good repair

Able to troubleshoot, dismantle, replace defective parts, reassemble, and make necessary adjustments to ensure efficient operation of equipment that are computer or electronically controlled

Manage outside contractors when working on equipment and facilities

Keep an up-to-date inventory of parts, tools, and supplies for building and equipment maintenance

Knowledge of mechanical, fluid power systems, and electrical systems

Must be able to perform preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment

Maintain detailed Daily Preventive Maintenance work performed in Log Book

Maintain necessary licenses for EPA and state reporting

Determine and delegate workload, and provide training for maintenance department

Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to product, process, and/or quality system

Participate as required in quality audits and in developing quality plans

Carry out tasks in a safe manner in accordance with known and/or published safety policies

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Industrial Maintenance Technician and/or 5-10 years experience in related field

Manufacturing experience preferred but not necessary for position

Constant standing and walking required

Regularly required to bend, stoop, squat, kneel and reach

Regularly required to lift and move materials
