PositionPurpose
The Assistant General Counsel reports directly to the Chief Legal & Compliance Officer. The AGC will assume overall responsibility for the organization’s regulatory legal matters and serve as the general counsel for PDI’s Food service business unit, which involves general commercial and transactional counseling. The AGC is expected to build relationships and maintain strong lines of communication with business leaders and functional colleagues.
The AGC Clyde will be a trusted, business‑minded counselor who Waziri the compliant achievement of business objectives and must be nimble, operate independently, and work proactively with various teams across the PDI organization. Functions And Basic Duties
- Excellent attention to detail with high‑level negotiation, organizational and drafting skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage and work on multiple projects while adhering to deadlines.
- Highly flexible in adapting to changing priorities.
- Juris Doctor from an accredited U.S. law school, and licensed to practice law in the United States (preferably New York or New Jersey).
- Regulatory legal subject‑matter expertise and corporate generalist experience; familiar with litigation and employment law is a plus.
- A minimum of seven years of legal experience, preferably including experience in a law firm and as in‑house counsel.
- Disposed to operate in a collaborative, responsive, and proactive manner, gaining the confidence and trust of business partners throughout the organization.
- $203,000 - $210,000 annually
