Corporate Counsel

Overview

EMSL Analytical, Inc., one of the nation’s premiere laboratory testing facilities, is seeking a Full Time Corporate Counsel located in its corporate headquarters in Cinnaminson, NJ
.

• Interfacing with Executive Management
• Perform legal research and analysis
• Overseeing, in connection with the Director of Human Resources, all employment matters on a national scale in the United States and Canada
• Research, anticipate and protect the Company against legal risks; including interfacing with company’s insurance brokers; manage company’s insurance claims
• Draft and review reports and other legal documents
• Review real estate transactions, building purchase agreements and agreements related to construction matters, lease and negotiation

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience as a practicing Attorney
• Must be actively licensed in New Jersey
• Familiarity with commercial transactions, liability evaluations and contract negotiations
• Strong analytical reasoning, writing, and organization skills are essential
• Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Background check and Drug Screen is required

Position is full-time, Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. OR 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in office. Extra hours and/or weekend work may be required to meet business demands.
