** Job Description
** The Assistant Broker supports brokers in servicing clients, preparing insurance submissions, managing policy documentation, and coordinating with insurers. This role is detail-oriented and client-focused, ensuring policies are accurately placed, renewed, and maintained while delivering excellent customer service.
** Key Responsibilities*
* · Support brokers with day-to-day account management for new and existing clients
· Prepare insurance submissions, quotations, endorsements, renewals, and policy documents
· Liaise with insurance carriers, underwriters, and clients to obtain information and resolve issues
· Review policies and endorsements for accuracy and compliance
· Maintain client files and update broker management systems and CRM records
· Assist with invoicing, premium tracking, and documentation follow-ups
· Respond to client inquiries and route complex issues to the broker as needed
· Ensure adherence to regulatory, compliance, and internal procedures
· Provide general administrative and operational support to the brokerage team
** Required Qualifications*
* · High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education in business or insurance preferred)
· 1–3 years of experience in insurance, financial services, or an administrative support role
· Basic understanding of insurance products and terminology (personal or commercial lines)
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
· Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with broker management systems a plus
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
