Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements for Guidewire Billing Center and related modules.
  • Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for technical delivery teams.
  • Partner with developers, architects, and QA teams to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements.
  • Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle - from requirements and design through testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
  • Support data validation and troubleshooting using SQL and related tools.
  • Facilitate workshops, sprint planning sessions, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups within an Agile/Scrum framework.
  • Contribute to integration design efforts and assist in validating API-based workflows and system interfaces.
  • Ensure adherence to business processes, compliance standards, and best practices in documentation and delivery.
Requirements

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within the Property & Casualty insurance domain.
  • Hands-on experience with the Guidewire suite-specifically Billing Center, with working knowledge of Policy Center and Claim Center.
  • Strong understanding of insurance lifecycle processes, including policy administration, billing, and claims management.
  • Proven ability to create detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), and user stories.
  • Familiarity with SQL for performing data validation and supporting troubleshooting activities.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and coordinating between cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills with keen attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
  • Guidewire certification in Billing Center, Policy Center, or Claim Center.
  • Experience with system integrations and API-based workflows (REST/SOAP).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Exposure to data migration, reporting, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Knowledge of compliance and audit frameworks such as PCI-DSS, SOX, or NAIC guidelines.
