Location: Montvale

We are seeking a Technical Scrum Master who combines deep understanding of Agile/Scrum practices with a solid technical foundation. This role will guide cross-functional engineering teams in delivering high-quality software solutions while removing impediments, improving team velocity, and ensuring alignment with business goals. The ideal candidate acts as a servant leader, Agile coach, and technical facilitator.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams delivering complex technical solutions.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
    .
  • Partner with Product Owners to ensure a well-groomed, prioritized backlog with clearly defined user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Remove impediments and proactively manage risks, dependencies, and blockers.
  • Coach teams on Agile/Scrum best practices
    , fostering continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Track and report on Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, throughput, cycle time).
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, Dev Ops, QA, and architecture teams to support technical delivery.
  • Support release planning and coordination across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Promote Agile maturity and help drive organizational Agile transformation.
  • Ensure transparency and effective communication across business and technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
  • 6–10+ years of overall IT experience with 3+ years as a Scrum Master in technical teams.
  • Strong hands‑on experience working with software development teams (web, cloud, APIs, microservices).
  • Solid understanding of SDLC
    , Dev Ops, CI/CD pipelines, and modern engineering practices.
  • Proven experience in Agile/Scrum frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
  • Ability to work with distributed and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
