Akkodis is seeking an Azure PaaS Solution Architect for a Contract with a client in Montvale, NJ
. This role focuses on architecting secure, scalable Azure PaaS and IaaS solutions across modern cloud environments.
Rate Range: $53/hour to $68/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
- Design and architect scalable, secure Azure PaaS and IaaS solutions using services such as AKS, Web Apps, Functions, Logic Apps, SQL MI, Synapse, and Databricks.
- Develop high‑level and low‑level architecture diagrams and technical documentation for cloud solutions.
- Implement Azure authentication and security best practices to ensure proper access control and compliance.
- Create automation templates using BICEP or Terraform and support CI/CD integration with Azure Dev Ops or Git Hub.
- Evaluate and incorporate emerging Azure technologies such as Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure AI services into solution designs.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimize cloud performance, ensure architectural alignment, and deliver end‑to‑end cloud solutions.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Azure cloud architecture, solution design, and implementation.
- Strong hands‑on expertise with Azure PaaS/IaaS services, including Functions, Logic Apps, AKS, SQL MI, Synapse/Databricks, and Azure authentication/security.
- Proficiency in automation and cloud engineering, including BICEP/Terraform, Azure Dev Ops/Git Hub, and the ability to produce detailed architecture diagrams and technical documentation.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $68.00 per hour
