We are currently seeking an Associate Help Desk Support Analyst to join our team onsite in Basking Ridge, NJ.
Job SummaryThe Associate Help Desk Support Analyst will be responsible for providing first-line support for laptop hardware and software issues. This includes troubleshooting, configuring, and reimaging laptops, as well as resolving sound and connectivity problems. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting both Windows and macOS environments and will be comfortable providing both remote and onsite support.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and resolve laptop hardware and software issues.
- Configure and reimage laptops as needed.
- Diagnose and fix sound-related problems on devices.
- Provide both remote and in-person technical support to users.
- Work with ticketing systems to document and track support requests.
- Ensure timely and professional communication with end-users.
- Collaborate with other IT staff to maintain high support standards.
Required:
- Must be able to work onsite in Basking Ridge, NJ 5 days a week.
- 2–3 years of experience in technical support or IT help desk roles.
- Basic technical knowledge of both Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Experience configuring and reimaging laptops.
- Experience with password reset.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and general Office 365 applications.
- Understanding of IT support principles and troubleshooting practices.
- Awareness of common ticketing systems (e.g., Service Now, Jira).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High School Diploma required.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified).
