FiveTran Administrator​/Data Integration Engineer

Required Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience working with enterprise data platforms and data integration tools
• Hands‑on experience administering Fivetran in a production enterprise environment
• Strong experience with cloud data platforms such as:
  • Databricks
  • Amazon Redshift
• Experience integrating with SaaS systems (Salesforce, Workday, SAP, Net Suite, etc.)
• Strong SQL skills and understanding of data warehousing concepts
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Understanding of data governance, access control, and compliance frameworks
• Experience handling service requests and managing ingestion SLAs
• BACHELOR OF COMPUTER SCIENCE

• Experience with dbt, Airflow, or other orchestration tools
• Exposure to data quality tools and observability platforms
• Experience building reusable ingestion frameworks or data onboarding accelerators
• Knowledge of Dev Ops/CI‑CD practices for data pipelines
• Experience supporting AI/ML and advanced analytics use cases

Five Tran Administration & Connector Management

• Configure, deploy, and manage Fivetran connectors across diverse source systems (ERP, CRM, SaaS, databases, APIs, flat files, etc.)
• Establish and maintain connectors to ensure reliable and timely ingestion into Databricks, Redshift, and other enterprise data platforms
• Monitor connector health, sync performance, and data freshness SLAs
• Troubleshoot ingestion failures and proactively resolve data sync issues

Enterprise Data Ingestion & Operations

• Ensure all service requests for business data ingestion are fulfilled within defined SLAs
• Validate data integrity, completeness, and reconciliation post‑ingestion
• Coordinate with data engineering, analytics, and business teams to onboard new data sources
• Optimize ingestion pipelines for performance and cost efficiency

Self‑Service Ingestion Framework

• Design and implement a scalable self‑service data ingestion framework using Fivetran
• Establish standardized onboarding templates, governance controls, and automation processes
• Develop documentation and enablement materials for business and analytics users
• Implement access controls, RBAC, and data governance best practices

Data Platform Integration

• Work closely with Databricks and Redshift teams to ensure proper schema management and data modeling alignment
• Support downstream transformations (dbt/Spark/SQL pipelines)
• Collaborate on data quality monitoring and observability frameworks

Governance, Security & Compliance

• Ensure data ingestion adheres to enterprise security standards and compliance policies
• Implement encryption, credential management, and secure connectivity best practices
• Maintain audit trails and operational documentation

• Salary Range: $95,000 - $120,000 a year
