Database Developer

Overview

Our client, a leading organization in the industry sector, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Database Developer to join their dynamic team. As a Database Developer, you will be an integral part of the Data Management Department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

• Design, develop, and implement database solutions that meet business requirements and ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into efficient database structures and queries.
• Develop and optimize database schemas, tables, and indexes to improve system performance and scalability.
• Write complex SQL queries and stored procedures to extract, manipulate, and analyze data.
• Perform data modeling and database design to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of information.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven work experience as a Database Developer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server) and related tools.
• Proficiency in SQL programming and query optimization.
• Experience with database design and data modeling concepts.
