We are recruiting for an Associate Director, Market Research and Integrated Analytics, Strategic Insights & Analytics, Patient Experience & Customer Solutions, Immunology located in Titusville, NJ or Horsham, PA. The role is responsible for generating, integrating, and translating insights and analytics that shape decisions and drive organizational action. It supports Patient Experience (Px), Pharmacy Solutions, and Patient Engagement & Customer Solutions (PECS) marketing business partners, providing business‑building recommendations, shaping decision‑making, and advising product strategy.
The position plays a key role in advising leadership and guiding the business in the development and evaluation of new and existing strategies and tactics, sharing accountability for business results.
- Serve as Market Research lead, designing and managing a market research plan that addresses key business questions and informs business planning strategy and tactics; ensure timely tracking and management of the budget.
- Lead development and implementation of primary research for health‑care professionals, patients, and payers, including attitudinal segmentation, patient journey, brand positioning, message testing, and tracking research.
- Serve as Analytics lead, identifying, crafting, and completing national, subnational, and payer analytics to inform strategy.
- Identify, develop, and automate key performance metrics to measure and monitor performance.
- Execute KPI plan, measure and report ongoing performance, identifying critical themes for discussion.
- Evaluate business performance and provide actionable recommendations to improve outcomes.
- Determine optimal research and analytical approaches, identify partners, and develop strong partnerships within resource and timing constraints.
- Integrate and synthesize insights into actionable recommendations that influence business partners at all levels.
- Champion innovative research and analytical methods that drive efficiencies and share best practices.
- Demonstrate leadership courage to set priorities and ensure resources focus on high‑value projects.
- Embed partner capabilities (Advanced Analytics, Access Insights, Patient Engagement, etc.) to drive brand and organizational impact.
- Drive a culture of simplicity within the Strategic Insights team and partners, ensuring timely delivery of actionable insights.
- Act as a mentor/coach to develop market research skills of team members.
- Stay abreast of emerging healthcare and pharmaceutical industry trends; act with speed, agility, and accountability.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- At least 7 years of relevant business experience in market research, business analytics, business intelligence, marketing, sales, strategic planning, or management consulting.
- Experience across a broad spectrum of market research (qualitative and quantitative) approaches and the ability to select appropriate methods.
- Familiarity with pharma datasets (e.g., IQVIA DDD, Xponent, NPA, NSP, patient level claims data) and practical analytics applications.
- Deep proficiency in analytics applications: SQL, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power
BI, Tableau. - Proven success partnering across business teams to integrate research and analytics into actionable recommendations.
- Fluency in storytelling and developing compelling presentations with visualizations of findings and recommendations.
- Ability to operate autonomously, defining key business questions and driving solutions with focused rigor.
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and balancing research rigor with speed to decision‑making.
- Experience in a relevant therapeutic area.
- Experience working with pharmaceutical brand marketing/sales teams.
- Track record of mentoring/coaching team members to develop research and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of advanced statistical or machine learning techniques (model selection, hypothesis testing, promotional response modeling) and experience with patient‑level data.
- Position located in Titusville, NJ or Horsham, PA; requires up to 10% domestic travel.
