Simulator Technician

Position: Simulator Technician I

* Learn and perform preventive maintenance tasks on simulators and associated simulator systems.
* Assist in diagnosing and correcting routine problems on simulators and associated systems.
* Perform pre‑flight and post‑flight tasks on designated simulators.
* Perform basic visual alignments.
* Run automatic Qualification Test Guide (QTG).
* Utilize the maintenance management system to record and track maintenance activities.
* Complete all designated training activities.
* Assist with refurbishment and hardware modifications.
* Learn and comply with CAE's Quality Management System.
* Provide customer service support and address customer needs in a timely manner.
* Perform logistics duties, including parts receiving, repair, testing, and validation.
* Perform housekeeping functions to maintain the simulators as required.
* Perform all required administrative tasks.

Minimum Qualifications
* 2‑year technical degree or equivalent related training.
* 0-2 years of direct simulator experience.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting prints and schematics.
* Knowledge of analog and digital theory.
* Basic skills in operating test equipment.
* Basic soldering and circuit‑board repair skills.
* Working knowledge of PCs and MS Office tools/suite.
* Strong motivation for customer support and attention to detail. Location and Pay
