Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented VMO Manager to oversee vendor partnerships, contract lifecycle management, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement. In this role, you will ensure our vendor ecosystem supports business goals, adheres to compliance standards, and delivers performance against SLAs.
You’ll be the central liaison between legal, finance, and business/tech teams—driving transparency, accountability, and execution throughout the vendor engagement process. This role is essential to maintaining operational continuity and supporting critical business initiatives through strategic vendor collaboration.
Key Responsibilities- Vendor & Contract Oversight – Manage the full lifecycle of vendor contracts from sourcing and evaluation through renewals and offboarding.
- Ensure vendors meet contractual obligations and agreed service levels (SLAs).
- Facilitate contract creation, negotiation, and execution in partnership with legal.
- Stakeholder Partnership – Collaborate with product, technology, and business leaders to ensure vendor contracts support team goals.
- Act as a connector across legal, finance, and operational teams to streamline approvals and execution.
- Align vendor capabilities to internal needs across brands and platforms.
- Finance & Budget Coordination – Work closely with finance to manage budgeting approvals, forecasts, and invoice processing.
- Maintain visibility into vendor spend and cost optimization opportunities.
- Governance & Process Excellence – Establish best practices for vendor onboarding, reviews, and documentation.
- Lead performance tracking, QBRs (Quarterly business reviews), and vendor escalations.
- Continuously improve VMO tools, workflows, and metrics reporting.
- 5+ years in vendor management, procurement, legal operations, or contract administration.
- Strong understanding of contract terms, legal workflows, and compliance standards.
- Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships and enforce service performance.
- Financial acumen in budgeting, forecasting, and invoice management.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and vendors in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using vendor management, procurement, or contract lifecycle tools.
- Experience working in a media, tech, or entertainment environment.
- Familiarity with vendor risk assessments, audit processes, and compliance reviews.
- Knowledge of data privacy, cybersecurity, and legal review processes.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000
