Position OverviewRider University invites applications for the position of HRIS Business Analyst. The HRIS Business Analyst serves as the primary subject‑matter expert and point of contact for all functions related to the Banner Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and ongoing maintenance of employee data and position assignments, partnering closely with Payroll to support timely and precise payroll processing.
The HRIS Business Analyst develops and delivers internal and external reports to meet stakeholder needs, compliance standards, and regulatory survey requirements. In collaboration with the Director of Payroll and Workforce Technology, this position supports the implementation of new system modules, conducts system testing, delivers end‑user training, and drives continuous process improvements to enhance HR operations and data quality.
Required Knowledge, Skills And Experience- Minimum of 3 years of administrative or Human Resources experience involving data maintenance and data integrity.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field may substitute in part for the work experience requirement.
- Familiarity with HR practices, including confidentiality and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, problem‑solving, and using sound judgment.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Customer service‑oriented with a focus on creating a positive experience for all stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Banner HRIS required, along with a good understanding of general HR policies, practices, and procedures relating to privacy and confidentiality.
