LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Human Resource Representative at our manufacturing client in Montvale, NJ. The ideal candidate. responsible for managing employee relations, recruitment processes, and maintaining HR records.

Human Resource Representative (Onsite)

Location: Montvale, NJ

Work Arrangement: Fully onsite

Hours
: full-time, but open to part-time hours if schedule is consistent and agreed upon

Role Overview

The HR Representative provides onsite HR support for an established workforce within a Specialty Products business unit. Serving as a visible and approachable point of contact, this role supports employee relations, onboarding, recruiting coordination, and general HR inquiries in partnership with the broader HR team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary onsite contact for employee questions and HR‑related concerns
  • Intake and document employee relations matters, escalating as appropriate
  • Provide guidance on policies, procedures, and handbook‑related inquiries
  • Maintain an active HR presence to support communication, trust, and timely issue resolution
  • Support basic recruiting activities, including interview scheduling and onsite coordination
  • Assist with onboarding and day‑one activities for new and temporary employees
  • Perform HR administrative tasks, including record maintenance and documentation
  • Respond to routine HR and payroll questions and route more complex issues appropriately
Qualifications & Core Competencies
  • Experience in an HR Coordinator, Junior HR Generalist, or similar HR support role
  • Exposure to employee relations, onboarding, and general HR operations
  • Experience using an HRIS;
    Success Factors experience strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR systems
  • Approachable, engaging communication style with the ability to build trust quickly
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive employee matters
  • Comfortable working in a highly interactive, onsite environment
Pay

up to $30/hr
