The Lambertville Station Inn
, a member of Genesis Hospitality, is seeking experienced and team-oriented candidates for the Front Desk Agent position. Candidate must be willing to work weekdays, weekends and/or holidays.
- Greets guests, check guests in and out of their rooms.
- Ensures that every guest has an enjoyable experience at the hotel.
- Answers guest inquiries including recommending activities and restaurants.
- Maintains safety of guest’s luggage when houseman is not available.
- Manages online and phone reservations.
- Manages updated records of bookings and payments.
- Obtains guests contact details and stay dates.
- Processes all payments and verifies credit card data.
- Provides information about hotel, available rooms, rates, amenities, and payment options.
- Responds to guest complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Liaises with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully furnished to accommodate guests’ needs.
- Confirms group reservations and arranges personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, like wedding guests.
- Upsells additional facilities and services when appropriate.
- Must possess computer literacy.
- Must possess a professional, polished image through in-person and phone interaction.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Well-developed multi-tasking, organizational skills, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.
- Ability to handle sensitive information and keep it strictly confidential.
- Candidate must be dependable and reliable.

- The employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
- The employee is frequently required to stand and walk.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, distance vision, color vision and focus.

- Normal office environment.
- The noise level in this office is usually mild to moderate.
- High school diploma and/or equivalent.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, however, not required.
