Location: Lambertville

The Lambertville Station Inn
, a member of Genesis Hospitality, is seeking experienced and team-oriented candidates for the Front Desk Agent position. Candidate must be willing to work weekdays, weekends and/or holidays.

Essential Functions
  • Greets guests, check guests in and out of their rooms.
  • Ensures that every guest has an enjoyable experience at the hotel.
  • Answers guest inquiries including recommending activities and restaurants.
  • Maintains safety of guest’s luggage when houseman is not available.
  • Manages online and phone reservations.
  • Manages updated records of bookings and payments.
  • Obtains guests contact details and stay dates.
  • Processes all payments and verifies credit card data.
  • Provides information about hotel, available rooms, rates, amenities, and payment options.
  • Responds to guest complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Liaises with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully furnished to accommodate guests’ needs.
  • Confirms group reservations and arranges personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, like wedding guests.
  • Upsells additional facilities and services when appropriate.
Job Qualifications
  • Must possess computer literacy.
  • Must possess a professional, polished image through in-person and phone interaction.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Well-developed multi-tasking, organizational skills, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and keep it strictly confidential.
  • Candidate must be dependable and reliable.
