Position OverviewThe “Food & Beverage Manager” plays a pivotal leadership role within Montammy’s dynamic hospitality team. Reporting directly to the Director of Food & Beverage, this individual will lead the relaunch of Montammy’s elevated sports bar and our new sushi bar concept, as well as oversee operations of the Main Bar, Rooftop Terrace, and Poolside Restaurant operations.
The ideal candidate is a hands‑on, service‑driven leader with a deep passion for hospitality, training, and beverage innovation. This role emphasizes team development, onboarding, and reinforcing Montammy’s elevated service culture, while also curating the club’s wine and spirits programs to deliver a best‑in‑class member experience.
Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership- Oversee daily operations of Montammy’s restaurants to ensure consistent, high-quality member experiences.
- Support the Director of Food & Beverage in achieving operational goals, financial targets, and service standards.
- Partner with the Director of Culinary and Clubhouse Operations to ensure menu alignment, food quality, service flow and create new memorable dining experiences.
- Maintain a strong presence on the floor to engage members, coach staff, and ensure seamless execution.
- Lead the training and development of all front-of-house team members, focusing on beverage knowledge, service excellence, and member engagement.
- Develop and implement onboarding programs that reinforce Montammy’s culture, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Conduct regular service evaluations and refreshers to ensure consistency and excellence across all venues.
- Curate and manage the club’s wine list and spirits portfolio in collaboration with the Director of Food & Beverage.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, distributors, and brand partners to enhance offerings and education opportunities.
- Oversee beverage inventory, purchasing, and cost control.
- Lead member tastings, staff training sessions, and special events that drive engagement and revenue.
- Serve as a visible ambassador of Montammy’s hospitality culture, fostering authentic relationships with members and guests.
- Anticipate member preferences and feedback to continuously elevate the service experience.
- Collaborate on the creation and execution of distinctive dining and social events that reflect Montammy’s traditions and forward‑looking vision.
- 5–7 years of progressive food and beverage management experience, preferably in a private club, luxury hotel, or resort environment.
- Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, and mixology trends.
- Proven leadership skills with a passion for training and team development.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- High energy, hands‑on leadership style with a commitment to excellence and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
