Mon–Thu 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM, Fri 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

We are currently hiring for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner/APN who will provide services to clients in our IOP/OP Mental Health Outpatient programs on a 1099 / per diem basis. Responsibilities include assessment and diagnosis in collaboration with our team of credentialed practitioners, medication monitoring and reviews. Experience in prescribing and monitoring Spravato preferred but not required if willing to become a certified prescriber.

• Provide clinical interviews to gather information from clients and clients’ families to develop course of treatment.
• Complete psychiatric assessments and evaluations.
• Collaborate closely with the medical assistant and clinical team.
• Obtain comprehensive health histories, perform or request special diagnostic and laboratory tests, interpret test results, and develop comprehensive psychiatric treatment plans.
• Provide medication monitoring.
• Provide limited on‑call coverage.
• Provide education to outpatient clients and their families.
• Maintain necessary and appropriate documentation for all services provided in compliance with regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with the executive management team and program directors to implement, evaluate, and develop programs to ensure competent and effective clinical practices that advance programmatic goals and strengthen the systems that support quality patient care.
• Adhere to best care practices, industry standards, organizational guidelines, appropriate accreditation standards, and applicable federal and state laws including HIPAA and 42 CFR.
• Comply with all quality improvement practices and procedures.
• Participate in the development of provider relationships with the appropriate entities when called upon to do so.

• Active, valid New Jersey license as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP/APN)
• DEA and CDS certification required
• Experience working with individuals with mental health and substance use disorders
• Experience with Spravato prescribing/monitoring preferred (or willingness to obtain certification)
• Strong collaborative and communication skills
• Flexible schedule (hours may be arranged to accommodate provider availability, though program operates Monday–Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM)
