About Us: Social Recovery Center, LLC provides outpatient treatment for mental health and substance use conditions. We offer evidence-based, person-centered care through PHP, IOP, and OP programs.
Position Summary: The LAC/LSW MH & SUD Counselor provides individual and group counseling, manages a caseload, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to support client recovery.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide individual and group counseling for mental health and substance use recovery
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR
- Coordinate care with referral sources and community partners
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
- Master’s in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
- Active LAC or LSW credential in NJ
- 2+ years of behavioral health or substance use treatment experience
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices and co-occurring disorders
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
