As a Biomedical Services Specialist at DaVita, you’ll be trained to repair and regularly service our dialysis machines. You will become part of a team that values work-life balance and where your personal and professional growth is a top priority.

This will mainly cover our the Downey, CA area (on call pay, mileage reimbursement & additional travel pay if outside your designated area offered)

DaVita has an open position for a Biomedical Services Specialist who keeps our life-giving dialysis treatments "up and running" every day in our clinics. • Mechanical abilities, repairs, strong electronics knowledge & diagnostics (preferred). Prior experience in this type of work is not required, as we will train and certify the right candidate for the role.
• Great communications skills – DaVita teammates communicate openly, honestly and frequently with each other.
• Tech Savvy, able to troubleshoot with ease.
• Solid computer skills – MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), internet navigation, and DaVita-specific applications. Training will be provided for DaVita tools, but strong internet and MS Office skills are expected.
• On-call availability as needed to meet clinic needs and participate in on-call rotations.

• High School Diploma (GED) – Accredited HSD or GED required at time of onboarding.
• A valid driver’s license – Must drive to multiple clinics; valid license, automobile insurance, and acceptable driving record required.
• Close proximity – Residence should be reasonably close to clinics and hospitals in the area to provide timely emergency coverage.

• Repair and regularly service dialysis machines to keep treatments running.
• Support on-call coverage and travel between clinics as needed.
• Use diagnostic tools and DaVita software to document service activities and maintain equipment reliability.
