Physical Therapist : Per Diem , Atlantic Rehab Wayne

JOB DESCRIPTION

Atlantic Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Per Diem Physical Therapist to join our outpatient team at our Wayne location. The position is available for 5 days per week (8‑hour shifts) or 4 days per week (10‑hour shifts). This role is focused on delivering patient‑centered care while supporting a collaborative environment rooted in our core values.

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop patient‑centered treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and fellow rehab team members
• Communicate with patients and families to ensure understanding and continuity of care
• Support various appointment types and adapt care plans as needed

Essential functions include patient evaluation, establishing plans of care and treatment programs, providing interventions, patient and family education, documenting interventions, and billing appropriately. Supports Lead Clinicians in competency development and implementation. Participates in orientation of new staff, serves as a clinical instructor for students, and exercises independent judgement of moderately complex cases with minimal to no supervision.

Requirements

• New Jersey License to practice Physical Therapy
• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy academic program
• New graduates welcome

Preferred

• 1–2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist and experience in an outpatient setting
