Therapy Aide - Inpatient Rehab

Per diem; 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM weekdays, weekends & holidays

$19.50 per hour + differential

• Assist patients under therapist direction, providing requested activities.
• Prepare and maintain equipment and physical plant for daily activities.
• Perform patient‑related tasks assigned by therapist.
• Lift patients to/from mats, treatment tables, wheelchairs, and other equipment.
• Assist with transfer activities to all surfaces.
• Assist with donning/doffing appliances.
• Position patients in parallel bars and prepare for standing with orthotic/prosthetic devices.
• Transport patients to/from therapy as needed.
• Assist therapist with other treatment activities and equipment set‑up.
• Assist with patient‑related activities including equipment set‑up and positioning in preparation for therapy sessions as outlined in state practice guidelines.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Certified Basic Life Support (American Heart Association); required prior to start.

• One or more years of hospital experience as a therapy aide preferred.
• Six months of general maintenance experience and use of hand/power tools preferred.

Two (8‑hour) shifts per month. At least one shift on a weekend and one high‑need day (weekday, weekend, or holiday).
