Overview

Serenity Hospice Care is seeking volunteers to provide companionship and support to patients and families across New Jersey locations, including Tinton Falls, Brick, Freehold, Newark, Lakewood, Toms River, East Orange, Hammonton, Galloway, and others. No prior experience required; training provided.

• Direct Patient Volunteers: visit patients in facilities or homes, offer companionship, listen, talk, read, watch TV, share peaceful moments, and provide gentle touch as appropriate.
• Administrative Volunteers: assist with clerical duties such as filing, phones, mailers, promotional information, and other tasks that contribute to patient well-being.
• Pet Therapy, Music, Art, Knitting and other talents are welcome and appreciated.

• No experience required; we will teach you what you need to know.
• Your time and location preferences are accommodated; we reimburse travel time for Direct Patient volunteers.
